This week sits between two months. Part of you wants July closed clean — loose ends finished, forgiven, done; the other part reaches for August, ready to start fresh.

Before you move forward, let go. Some habits, self-perspectives, mantras, paradigms and/or philosophies have out-lived their relevance to your present situation.  What you’ve always done before isn’t working. Look past the appearance of your situation to see the underlying root causes of the effects you’re experiencing. 7 – The Chariot: Water. Victory through focused will and disciplined balance of opposites; directed progress and conquest of inner/outer chaos. Cancer/Moon-linked, assertive forward movement under conscious control.

17 – The Star: Air. Hope, inspiration, healing renewal, and serene guidance from higher consciousness; the naked soul pouring living waters of truth upon earth and psyche. Calm illumination after upheaval, naked truth, and spiritual replenishment. Restorative grace.

48 (4+8=12) – Hanged Man: Water. Sacrifice, suspension, inversion of perspective, willing surrender for higher insight. The initiation of letting go. The soul is asked to stop forcing forward motion. The Chariot’s drive and Strength’s quiet power are deliberately suspended so a new perspective can descend. This is not passive waiting; it is an active, conscious hanging — a chosen liminality.

Broader Theme 49/13 (August 1-5)

49 (4+9=13) – Death:Water. Scorpio, transformation, necessary ending and rebirth, dissolution of outdated form. The scythe that clears the ground for new life. The suspension of the Hanged Man reaches its natural conclusion. What was held in liminal water now undergoes the final dissolution. The Emperor’s square is broken open so that a more authentic order may later crystallize.

Synthesis

The 10-year Wheel is turning. Within it the month moves from Chariot-Star (will guided by hope) into Strength-Moon (gentle power navigating illusion). The present 31/4 week has the Emperor’s square broken open so that a more authentic order may later crystallize. Overarching 48 and 49 announce that the larger arc requires first a conscious hanging (reversal of perspective) and then a clean death of whatever form can no longer serve the next rotation of the Wheel.
