A Light in the Darkness - September 3rd - September 9th, 2026

This week runs on five numbers: 10, 36, 9, 19, and 55.

The number 10 is the Wheel of Fortune, the number of cycles and turning points, fate shifting and life moving in circles instead of straight lines. Ups and downs are normal, and a low point is never the end of the story.

The number 36 is this week's own number, built from six groups of six, and six is the number of the soul. Inside the Hermit's lantern sits a six-pointed star, the light of a person's own divine spark, buried deep within the soul. Reduced down, 36 becomes 9.

The number 9 is the Hermit, the number of stepping away from the crowd to think clearly. His lamp does not hold borrowed light. It holds his own Divine Spark, set ablaze within his soul by the struggle for truth and clarity.  That newly kindled light shines out from his soul to light his own path forward.

The number 19 is the Sun, one of the most positive numbers in the whole system: clarity, warmth, and plain truth. It is found deep inside the dark the Hermit walks through, not outside it.

The number 55 is this week's broader theme, two 5s side by side. Five is the Hierophant's number, the bridge between higher truth and everyday life. Reaching it means wrestling with confusion and old assumptions, then finding the determination to live by whatever measure of truth remains. Reduced down, 55 becomes 10 again, tying back into the year.
